Congrats on making it through treatment! I can honestly say that a normal life is about to begin!!! From one cancer parent to another I can tell you that cancer can keep us in bondage forever, if we choose to let it. Every day we have, you and I can spend it worrying if cancer is going to come back. That worry will most certainly rob us of our joy. Every day we can make a conscious choice to lay that worry at the feet of Jesus. He has given our children their health back and we must choose to enjoy this time with our children and not worry about what "could be".

As time has passed, I have become more confident in Adelaine's health. After 6 to 9 months the chemo completely leaves and their full immune system begins working properly.

I would love to hear how your daughter is doing. I will pray for her and for you as well. How old is she and what is her name?

Please feel free to email me anytime at Angelampowell@tampabay.rr.com

How is your daughter doing? My daughter got diagnosed with Leukemia in November 2005. Next week is the end of her treatment. She been in remission since 2005. I am so scared about what might happend next now that she is off her meds. I love baby girl so much. Her doctor said that only 15% of kids with ALL relapse. They say that 85% live normal life expectancy. Still 15% sounds like a big number. How long has your beautiful daughter been in remission? how's life after treatment? they say 85% of kids get cured and so far its been hard to find survivors online.
